Device Management¶
When you tap on the Device Management tab the below functions appear.
| Menu Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Setup Interface | Reruns the initial setup covered in the beginning of this manual. May be useful if you are having trouble connecting to the device with Bluetooth. |
| Connection Method | Allows users to enable their connection for resync, reading, device setup, and other functions. The three available options are Bluetooth, Local Wi-Fi (Recommended), and MPVI Hotspot. |
| RESYNC RTD | If you or your tuner purchase additional credits for your interface device, it will eventually learn about the purchase through an autosync process. If you need to use the credits immediately, however, the autosync might not have occurred yet. Select this option to have the device check for newly purchased credits. |
| MPVI4 Verification Code | Allows users to gather a verification code which can be sent to our support team, once you select RETRIEVE CODE. |

General¶
When you tap on the General tab the below functions appear.

| About the App | Opens a popup containing a little information about the TDN app. |
| Check for Updates | Allows users to view any available updates. |
| Privacy Policy | Displays the HP Tuners privacy policy. |
| License Agreement | Allows users to view HP Tuners license agreement. |
Help¶
When you tap on the Help tab the below functions appear.

| User Guide | User guide appears. |
| Contact Support | Email window for contacting support appears. |
| Gather Infolog for Support | Select GATHER INFO LOG in this window to send to our support team. |
| Verification Code | Allows users to gather a verification code which can be sent to our support team, once you select RETRIEVE CODE. |
Use Pro / Simplified Interface¶
Allows users to toggle between both the pro and simplified interface.
Sync All Files to MPVI4¶
This option is enabled by default. It will sync all files on sync. For users with many files, disabling this option will allow you to sync only the desired file.
Erase Files from MPVI4¶
Allows users to delete all MPVI/RTD files, including reads and data logs.
Delete File Sync Data¶
Allows users to delete all file sync data from the app.
Set App Permissions¶
Opens your phone’s/tablet's permission settings for the TDN app. This is a quick way to enable or disable the app’s ability to use your phone’s Bluetooth® capability.
Send Usage Information¶
Allows users to choose to send or not send HP Tuners information on how you use this app to help us improve your experience.
