CORE Inputs & Outputs¶

The Core ECU is a 150 channel ECU which receives input data from various sensors mounted to the LS engine and then outputs various signals to control engine operation.

The CORE ECU also performs diagnostic functions, which notifies the user of the engine malfunctions by turning on a Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL), which can be found within VCM Live. Malfunctions within the ECU are identified by Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) numbers.
