Vehicle Profiles

When you connect to a new vehicle, a new "Vehicle Profile" will be generated and stored.

Vehicles of different platforms and even of the same platform but with different Operating System IDs support different parameters.

When using VCM Scanner offline, you can switch between these profiles so that VCM Scanner loads the appropriate parameter set for the desired vehicle.

Furthermore, you can enter in user provided values, such as "User VIN" and "User OS" per "Vehicle Profile" to further help VCM Scanner load the appropriate parameter definition.

• This may be useful if your vehicle misreports or doesn't report its Operating System ID or VIN.
