The Setup / Tools Menu

The Setup / Tools Menu contains a number of additional utilities and informational resources.

NOTE: Most of the tools listed in this menu are for troubleshooting potential issues with your interface device. In most cases, you should never need them.

To display this menu, tap the button on the navigation bar.

Items in this menu include:

Menu Item	Description
SETUP RTD4	Reruns the initial setup covered in the beginning of this manual. May be useful if you are having trouble connecting to the device with Bluetooth.
RESYNC RTD4	If you or your tuner purchase additional credits for your interface device, it will eventually learn about the purchase through an autosync process. If you need to use the credits immediately, however, the autosync might not have occurred yet. Select this option to have the device check for newly purchased credits.
GATHERING INFO LOG FOR TECH SUPPORT	Allows users to generate an infolog and/or create a support request ticket with technical support, which both can be shared via email.
CHANGE TO PRO INTERFACE/CHANGE TO SIMPLIFIED INTERFACE	Allows users to toggle between both user interfaces.
SYNC ALL FILES TO RTD4	This option is enabled by default. It will sync all files on sync. For users with many files, disabling this option will allow you to sync only the desired file.
CHECKING FOR EXISITING READ	With this feature enabled, you will receive a dialogue prompt if the vehicle you are reading is the last vehicle read in the ap. This is intended to prevent multiple unwanted read files.
DISABLE SERVICE MODE DIALOG	When disabled the service mode feature is off, which is a feature that instructs users how too read their vehicle properly.
RTD4 VERIFICATION CODE	Allows users to obtain their verification code needed to register your RTD to your HPTuners.com account.
SET APP PERMISSIONS	Opens your phone’s permission settings for the TDN app. This is a quick way to enable or disable the app’s ability to use your phone’s Bluetooth® capability.
RESET FILE SYNC DATA	Causes the app to forget what files have been synced with your tuner. Typically, the app will relearn which files have already been sent the next time it performs a sync. Some files may be resent, though.
ABOUT THIS APP	Opens a popup containing a little information about the TDN app.
USER GUIDE	Opens this user guide.
PRIVACY POLICY	Displays the HP Tuners privacy policy.
LICENSE AGREEMENT	Allows users to view HP Tuners license agreement.
