Ignition Knock Retard Feed Forward🔗
Each cylinder cycle that knock persists and the Knock Retard Limit has not been reached, an additional amount of ignition retard is applied to reduce knock. This is calculated by doing the following:
- Ignition Knock Retard Proportional Gain (in degrees per volt) is multiplied by the amount that the knock sensor voltage exceeds the knock detection threshold.
- The resulting amount of ignition retard (in degrees) is added to the value specified here.
