Conditions for Setting DTC P1117🔗
- Engine Running
- Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor ≤ -40 °F
- The above must be present for a period of 128 instances/cycles or greater to trigger DTC P1117

| 1 | - Key ON, Engine Running - Ensure engine is running at normal operating temperature and then run the engine above 1200 RPM for at least 30 seconds - Within VCM Live, open the ECT sensor DTC Minimum parameter, does the ECT sensor parameter display -40 °F or less? |

| 2 | - Verify with a temperature gauge that the engine coolant is below 205 °F ± 10 - Does the temperature gauge indicate 205 °F or less? |
