Conditions for Setting DTC P1118🔗
- Engine Running
- Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor ≥ 302 °F
- The above must be present for a period of 128 instances/cycles or greater to trigger DTC P1118

| 1 | - Key ON, Engine Running - Ensure engine is running at normal operating temperature and then run the engine above 1200 RPM for at least 30 seconds - Within VCM Live, open the ECT sensor DTC Maximum parameter, does the ECT sensor parameter display 302 °F or less? |

| 2 | - Verify with a temperature gauge that the engine coolant is above 215 °F ± 10 - Does the temperature gauge indicate 215 °F or greater? |
