Like many apps, TrackAddict may transmit data to our servers and/or third-party servers and networks to provide certain features and functionality. We respect your privacy and have made much of this opt-in, or otherwise require explicit user action where deemed practical. Some internet-based services may be used automatically to provide a more optimal experience.

Live Telemetry Streaming

When you access the Live Telemetry setup screen, our servers will be contacted to create an account for your use. If enabled, telemetry data will be transmitted to our servers during active recording sessions for viewing on Live.RaceRender.com. This data includes precise location, speed, heading, vehicle data, technical device information, and other information. Historical data may also be retained. For additional information, refer to the Notices on Live.RaceRender.com.

HP Tuners Devices

When an HP Tuners device (such as an MPVI2) is connected, the app may contact related internet servers for product activation, license updates, and other services. This may be required for the device to function. For additional terms, refer to the End User License Agreement (EULA) of the VCM Suite software and your HP Tuners device.

Session Data Files

The app provides several methods for sharing session data with other people or devices, including WiFi transfer and sharing via email or third-party apps. Data files and videos may also be accessible to other apps via USB connection or similar means. Be advised that session files can contain precise recorded locations, speeds, headings, vehicle data, technical information, and other data.

Vehicle Survey Data

If you choose to participate in the Vehicle Survey, vehicle and device information will be automatically sent to our servers. This is a voluntary, opt-in program designed to help us better understand and support the vehicles and devices used with our products. Data is collected primarily via an OBD-II interface and includes vehicle identification, controller information, device model name, operating system, and other related data — similar to information commonly collected by service departments and emissions testing stations. We may apply proprietary techniques in this process, and any data obtained shall be ours to utilize as we see fit.

Third-Party Services and Networks

Features involving map graphics, in-app purchases, app review links, and similar functionality may utilize third-party services outside of our control, including but not limited to Google Maps, Apple Maps, Google Play, and the Apple App Store. Refer to the terms and privacy policies of those services for further information. All aforementioned features and services will also utilize internet service providers and other third-party networks that may be outside of our control and may not constitute private communications. It may be possible for others to identify you from these connections and the data transmitted.
